Hardin County Schools mourns Emma Grace Grose, an 18-year-old Vine Grove student

Hardin County Schools is mourning Emma Grace Grose, 18, who was enrolled in the district's virtual school program. Superintendent Teresa Morgan announced her passing Thursday morning, and The News-Enterprise reports she died Monday at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Grose attended Vine Grove Elementary School and James T. Alton Middle School. An obituary from Chism Family Funeral Home lists visitation Sunday and a funeral Monday, Nov. 9.

  • Counselors: available to HCS students for as long as necessary
  • Privacy: the district asks the community to respect the family's
  • Visitation: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Chism Family Funeral Home

Services for Emma Grace Grose are set for Sunday and Monday

  2. Nov. 8Visitation runs 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Chism Family Funeral Home.
