- ➤ Kentucky Lt. Gov. Coleman spoke on Wednesday at the Hardin County Chamber luncheon about the Pre-K for All Initiative and said investing in early education can boost kindergarten readiness — which may lower future costs from poor literacy rates. The Beshear administration’s plan will build preschools, eliminate childcare deserts, and grow the labor force, and Coleman urged community members to help the advisory committee gather feedback statewide.
