This week, Hardin County Animal Shelter is featuring two dogs seeking Furever homes: Roku, a 3-year-old brindle and white beagle weighing 46 pounds, and Ruben, a 1-year-old brindle hound mix with honey colored eyes.

The dogs are available at 220 Peterson Drive in E-town (Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 4 p.m.), and questions can be directed to the shelter at 270-769-3428.

Those interested in the pageants should register soon for the Hardin County Community Fair & Horse Show, as the registration deadline draws near and the event is set for next month.
