- ➤ This week we feature Molly—a 6-month-old brown tiger and calico kitten with green eyes—and Coco—a 5-month-old hound mix weighing 31 pounds—available for adoption at Hardin County Animal Shelter at 220 Peterson Drive in E-town, which is open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. but will be closed on May 26 for Memorial Day. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ U.S. tariffs on imported flowers and nursery products are expected to drive up prices—providing local flower farmers with new opportunities to sell more crops. WKYU-FM
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The FDA announced a recall of cucumbers from Bedner Growers grown between April 29 and May 19 after 26 people, including some in Kentucky, became ill with salmonella and nine were hospitalized.
