GoldStars traveling tribute will spend Memorial Day weekend in Elizabethtown honoring service members who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Yesterday was hot with temperatures reaching the low 90s and a few late storms over southern Indiana; today, a strong cold front brings scattered showers and storms with damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph plus a chance for large hail, easing by Wednesday morning.

Gov. Andy Beshear announced $6 million in grants for projects that reduce solid waste and improve hazardous material management (expanding recycling) across the state, with some initiatives expected to benefit our community.
The funding will support new efforts to lessen landfill waste in the coming months.
