E’town Lions Club will cut the ribbon on its new club house decorated in holiday colors with a small Christmas tree set between two big screen TVs.
The club looks forward to hosting a festive opening that brings the community together.
📰 Economy
The Kentucky Center for Statistics released the September employment report showing a 4.7% unemployment rate, unchanged from August and 0.6% lower than last September's 5.3%, while the civilian labor force dropped by 20 people to 2,114,917.
The report also noted sector changes and a national rate of 4.4%.
🎓 Education
Hardin County Schools launched the free Stopfinder app on Thursday to help parents track school bus locations in real time.
The tool, which served preschool families, is now available for middle and high school students through district invite (registration required).
