- ➤ TVA, Warren RECC, and Grayson County Alliance will distribute free Christmas hams to eligible electric customers on Monday, Dec. 15 at the Grayson County Fairgrounds (9:00 a.m. to noon) and on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at the Butler County Road Department in Morgantown (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.); customers must show a WRECC bill and matching ID to claim a ham. - ➤ The Kentucky Blood Center will host a blood drive at Malibu Jack’s in Elizabethtown on Saturday, Dec. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. to boost the blood supply for over 70 hospitals during winter, and donors meeting the requirements will get a free hoodie giveaway + help support patients. Quicksie 98.3
- ➤ The Kentucky Department for Public Health reported 566 whooping cough cases in 2025 across 93 counties - the highest total since 2012. Doctors stressed that timely vaccinations are vital to protect infants who are most at risk. K105
