Hardin County Animal Shelter in Elizabethtown is featuring two dogs looking for Furever homes—Beebop, a 1-year-old pittie, and Nova, a 1-year-old lab/hound mix—while offering $25 adult dog adoptions with a new toy or gift card to help children served by Benchmark Family Services; the shelter was closed on Thanksgiving Day and Friday and is open Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at 220 Peterson Drive.
