HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kentucky nurses are warning that the U.S. Education Department's proposal to limit federal student loans may worsen the state's ongoing nursing shortage. The changes will take effect —starting July 1— and allow students in professional programs to borrow up to $50,000 a year with a $200,000 lifetime cap while others get lower limits —a move linked to a petition with over 200,000 signatures.
