- ➤ Community members will get a free 'Stone Soup' Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, November 15 at 4 p.m. at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, organized by local businesses and individuals to help those affected by the government shutdown—organizers plan to serve about 1,000 people. - ➤ Kentucky’s Modern Gun Deer Season opens today and runs for 16 days until November 23 + hunters must follow state-set harvest limits based on deer density. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife reported nearly 150,000 deer were taken last year + special restrictions apply in areas under Chronic Wasting Disease surveillance. Quicksie 98.3
