- ➤ Elizabethtown council adopted a master plan for pedestrian and bicycle safety—developed by a local conservation society—to improve trail connectivity. The News-Enterprise
- ➤ Registration is open for the fall LIHEAP subsidy that helps Kentucky households with cooling costs. Eligible applicants with incomes up to 150% of the federal poverty guidelines must submit required documents and apply on a first-come basis until December 12 — contact your local Community Action office for details. - ➤ On October 25, more than 11,000 pounds of unwanted medications were collected in Kentucky during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
