  • Amy Stahley has been selected by Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky — the state's leading voice on child abuse prevention — to represent Hardin County in the 2025 Upstream Academy, where she will help set statewide prevention efforts in motion.  The News-Enterprise
  • Community partners met at a recent dinner to discuss ways to unite and grow local ties — they focused on new harvesting partnerships to strengthen resources and plans for future meetings.  The News-Enterprise

BUSINESS NEWS

  • After months of negotiations, E-town Swim and Fitness has been sold and will reopen under new ownership in January — the change comes as part of efforts to boost local business.  The News-Enterprise

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Kentucky Fish and Wildlife announced a new regulation that makes it unlawful to use drones to take or harass fish and wildlife while allowing KFW employees, contractors, and approved landowners (for safety, law enforcement, research or management) to use them for specific purposes. The regulation gives clear guidelines (for authorized use) and is now in effect.  Quicksie 98.3
