- ➤ Researchers at the University of Kentucky are testing local snakes for a fungal disease that can cause lesions and swelling. They placed around 800 boards across the state to gather data and better learn how the infection spreads — the team will use the findings to study snake health. WKYU-FM

- ➤ Baptist Health Hardin received a donation from The Cecilian Bank to set up a Community Health and Wellness Fund+ the donation will help the hospital expand local care and services. The News-Enterprise
- ➤ Today the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter invites locals to join a free Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the bandstand of Freeman Lake Park starting with an opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Families can enjoy a kids zone and tribute wall at the event, which raises funds for support and research for those affected by Alzheimer’s.
