- ➤ A Hardin County Sheriff’s Office deputy rescued five abandoned kittens during an eviction at a Radcliff property + the rescue occurred as an eviction warrant was served. The News-Enterprise
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Embry Chapel A.M.E. Church in Elizabethtown is celebrating 160 years with a big event unfolding today and Sunday. Community members are invited to join in honoring the church's long legacy — a milestone in local history. The News-Enterprise

- ➤ Kentucky’s Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman talked about how her double mastectomy led her to push for breast cancer awareness and careful health care. She is thinking about running for governor and will lead the National Lieutenant Governors Association next year—she listens to Kentuckians’ ideas while working with Gov. Andy Beshear. WLKY
- ➤ The roundabouts at U.S. 62 and U.S. 31W Bypass are now fully operational after eastbound traffic was moved into the new configuration—work continues on the Nicholas Street connector and between the bypass and French Street with completion planned by November 1. Quicksie 98.3
