  • A clothing swap fundraiser was held Sunday at Cottage Core at the Mellwood Art Center in Clifton Heights where donors traded five items for five new-to-you pieces after donating $5; proceeds supported the family of Brian Rea, a local DJ from La Grange who died in a car accident.  WLKY

CULTURE NEWS

  • Families enjoyed the second Heartland Harvest Festival with sunny weather+ a large turnout marked a welcome return after last year's cancellation due to remnants of Hurricane Helene.  The News-Enterprise
  • Bluegrass fans attended the annual Vine Grove Bluegrass Music Festival in Hardin County — local musicians performed live and visitors celebrated a rich musical tradition. The event showed strong community support for the bluegrass style as it brought people together in celebration.  The News-Enterprise
