ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A man was killed in a crash on Bloomfield Road in Nelson County Saturday morning when a truck crossed the center line and struck the car driven by 34-year-old John Cecil, and the truck driver along with other passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries—KSP said they are investigating.  WLKY
  • The Kentucky State Fire Marshal's office confirmed that a lightning strike caused a fire that destroyed Vine Grove Station Number 3 last week — the blaze ruined the building, three fire trucks and Santa Truck equipment, and donations are now accepted at Vine Grove City Hall.  WLKY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Today, Gov. Andy Beshear ordered all state office building flags to be lowered to half-staff—honoring Overdose Awareness Day—and the Governor's Mansion was lit purple on Saturday and will be lit purple today. The state is remembering lost lives while raising awareness for overdoses—supporting families affected by addiction.  WLKY
