Six local women will be honored at the annual Women’s Equality Day event celebrating women's suffrage and community impact.

🚧 Accidents
An 8-year-old student from Hardin County was flown to Norton Children's in Louisville after falling through the ceiling at Lincoln Trail Elementary around noon Monday (school officials confirmed his release).
🎓 Education
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) announced that it will join the Metallica Scholars Initiative with a $15,000 grant to boost student success and career readiness in advanced manufacturing.
The college, a seven-time participant that has received $210,000 so far, will help students pursue careers in high-demand technical fields.
🏥 Health
A recent March of Dimes report shows nearly half of Kentucky counties are maternity care deserts, leaving over 100,000 mothers traveling more than 30 minutes for labor and delivery care.
The nonprofit will expand mobile health centers & doula services to improve access for mothers and babies.
