Hardin County Jailer Josh Lindblom (Big Josh) led a detention center crew out into the community to help build an outdoor classroom for local schools.
The project aims to improve outdoor learning spaces and community engagement.
🎓 Education
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will host Express Enrollment next month, Aug.
11-13 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Aug. 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for classes starting Aug. 17; students can visit Room 101 for in-person advising or register online for a virtual appointment.
🌲 Environment
Green River Lake State Park Campground partially reopened Friday after over a year of closure from flood damage, offering 73 camping sites through Oct.
31. Restoration work will begin Nov. 1 to upgrade electrical service and drainage for a full reopening next spring.
