- ➤ Elizabethtown police are providing refurbished phones—some for 911-only calls and others offering up to 60 days of prepaid service—to survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking who often lack communication, and they are asking residents to donate used phones for secure wiping and refurbishment. - ➤ With Indiana and Kentucky school districts getting ready for classes, roads will see more school buses stopping for passengers on two lane roads and four lane roads where traffic must follow different rules. - ➤ Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has received a $1.6 million TRIO Student Support Services grant from the U.S. Department of Education to help 185 first-generation, low-income students with tutoring, counseling, and transfer support over five years.
