A man was critically injured after being hit by two cars while crossing Shelbyville Road near Moser Road late Saturday and Sherrie Martin was charged with driving under the influence and wanton endangerment — local residents are troubled by the busy intersection.

Elizabethtown Independent Schools invites district families to join Panther Fest 2025, a free back to school party at Elizabethtown High School on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. The event will have inflatables, Kona Ice, a DJ, vendors and resource booths provided by local community partners (sponsored by the school district and the Family Resource and Youth Services Center).
The ECTC Foundation has established a new memorial endowment for Elizabethtown Community and Technical College’s Student Emergency Fund—set up to help students cover unexpected costs.
