Federal health officials confirmed that shredded iceberg lettuce from a Mexican supplier at Taco Bell locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia is linked to a cyclospora outbreak.
Taco Bell has stopped using the lettuce and is replacing it nationwide while regulators investigate the supply chain.
The CDC warns that shredded iceberg lettuce at some Taco Bell locations in Kentucky and Indiana is linked to a Cyclospora outbreak that has sickened over 1,600 people + 94 have been hospitalized, and Taco Bell will stop using lettuce from Taylor Farms as the investigation continues.
