- ➤ On Monday afternoon at 3:00, 77-year-old Laura Gilpin crossed the center line between Elizabethtown and Bardstown near the intersection of Boston Road and Bennetts Lane and collided with a Dodge Avenger driven by 26-year-old Jasmine Simpson—Gilpin was pronounced dead at the hospital while Simpson and a juvenile passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
