ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A male passenger died in a two-vehicle accident in Hardin County when a Nissan Rogue—driven by an adult woman turning left from Timber Lane onto northbound Patriot Parkway just after noon on Friday—crossed into the path of a southbound Nissan Sentra at the intersection, and both drivers were taken to Baptist Health Hardin with minor injuries as the investigation continues.  K105
  • The Clarkson Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment complex on West Short Street Thursday night when an oven caught fire in a kitchen (8:05 p.m.), then spent 90 minutes checking for hot spots before clearing the scene (9:25 p.m.) while the American Red Cross was called to assist the affected family, with no injuries reported.  K105

CRIME NEWS

  • Sherry Ballard said the trials for the men convicted in her daughter Crystal Rogers’ murder were very hard—she traveled from Bardstown to Bowling Green daily, listened to defense attorneys speak for those she blamed, and thanked the community as sentencing for Steve Lawson is set for Aug. 6 and for Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson on Aug. 21.  WLKY
