The Hardin County Animal Shelter holds a Dog Days of Summer special that lets dogs 5 months or older be adopted for $25—visit them at 220 Peterson Drive from Monday to Saturday between 12 noon and 4 p.m. Quicksie 98.3

- ➤ Kentucky beverage company Ale-8-One announced it will release Pawpaw Ale-8 — a limited edition four-pack made with real sugar, natural flavors, and no dyes in partnership with Kentucky State University in Frankfort. The drink uses a tropical recipe featuring the native pawpaw fruit and will soon be available at retailers across Kentucky. WLKY
