  • A list of Fourth of July fireworks events has been published for Kentucky and Indiana, and it includes Founder's Day Fireworks Over Etown at 600 College Street Road in Elizabethtown on July 4 when fireworks start at 10 p.m. + other events feature varied start times from 7:05 p.m. to 10 p.m. between July 3 and 5.  WLKY

CRIME NEWS

  • The Elizabethtown Police Department is partnering with 911 Cell Phone Bank to support crime victims by collecting used cell phones, tablets, and similar devices that will be securely wiped and refurbished for emergency use—donors may drop off devices at 300 South Mulberry Street and speak with Victim Services Specialist Anesha Knott.  Quicksie 98.3

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Drivers in Hardin County should expect nighttime resurfacing work on U.S. 31W between KY 313 and KY 1815, with milling scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday through Friday as the project is set to finish by the end of July—lane closures and uneven pavement will be in effect, so motorists should follow signs and flaggers.  Quicksie 98.3
