- ➤ A jury was seated Tuesday in Warren County for the second trial related to missing Bardstown mother Crystal Rogers, who has not been seen since the Fourth of July weekend 2015, with opening statements scheduled for 8:30 a.m. today as boyfriend Brooks Houck and co-defendant Joseph Lawson face charges of murder, conspiracy, and tampering with evidence—this trial was moved from Nelson County due to intense publicity. - ➤ Sewer line work on the William Thomason Byway extension project begins this week at KY 259 near the parkway and will block White Street, Rhodes Street and South English Street—detour signs will be installed as the contractor finalizes the schedule. The project will link KY 259 to US 62 and KY 54 to improve access. K105
- ➤ Elizabethtown Police Chief Jeremy Thompson said during a Monday afternoon work session that support from the city council and community allowed the department to add 38 positions to address growth from developments like BlueOval SK—this expansion helped EPD handle 15,663 calls in 2025.
