The City of Elizabethtown chose a location for its first roundabout, which will be built using city dollars.

Radcliff deputy fire marshal Tommy Crane warned that on a sunny 60 degree day, the temperature in parked cars can reach 110 degrees quickly and parents should set alarms or use visual cues to check back seats.

He advised that if a child appears to be in distress, someone must call 911 immediately—laws protect those who help.
