- ➤ An Eastview man riding a motorcycle was killed when he tried passing an 83-year-old driver on Monday at 4:40 p.m.—authorities said the crash on Hardinsburg Road left the older driver with non-life threatening injuries and is under investigation. K105

- ➤ Dawson Blevins filed a lawsuit against former Trooper James Wright after a June 2024 traffic stop in Hardin County showed him being tased and maced until he broke two spines — his lawyer said the force was too much — and Wright now faces a federal indictment that could lead to up to 25 years in prison.
