Fort Knox will host a 5k run/walk on Friday, June 12 to celebrate the Army’s 251st birthday at the base.

Freeman Lake Park hosts the 30th Annual Children's Fair today from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Ernie Williams Pavilion, in partnership with the Heart of Kentucky Association of Realtors.

Heart of Kentucky Chorus performs 'An American Journey' today at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with $10 tickets.
The chorus will also present a dinner-and-show on June 11 at Venue on Main in Vine Grove at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. for $35.

The U.S. Drought Monitor report shows that scattered showers last week cut Kentucky’s severe drought from 55.9 to 18.7 percent and raised no-drought areas to 22 percent.
