Hardin County Schools announced changes by promoting Creekside Elementary principal Dr. Brooke Custis to Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction and naming Dominic McCamish as Meadow View Elementary principal; Custis, with six years at Creekside, worked in Hawaii and Indiana + McCamish brings local experience from Bullitt County Public Schools.
Hardin County Public Library kicked off its Summer Reading Challenge today at its main branch and invited community members to explore books and join interactive programs all summer long.
🏥 Health
Governor Beshear signed an executive order Tuesday adding 15 new qualifying conditions to Kentucky’s medical marijuana law to expand safe pain relief access for residents.
The update clears confusion over a list that previously covered only six conditions.
As summer begins, Radcliff Deputy Fire Marshal Tommy Crane advises that propane and charcoal grills be used only outdoors and left attended, with a three-foot buffer around children and pets and a 10-foot gap from structures — grills stay hot even after cooking — to help prevent fire risks.
