COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Drivers had mixed reactions on Monday as alternate I-65 routes led to delays from GPS errors and confusing signage near the airport and downtown. KYTC recommended using Waze, and officials said better signs will be put up soon (to ease confusion).  WLKY

ECONOMY NEWS

  • In April, the Lincoln Trail District's average unemployment rate was 4.7%, slightly higher than last April, with Hardin County at 5% and Washington County at 3.7%, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics.  Quicksie 98.3

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Area school districts are launching summer meals programs for children 18 and under, with Elizabethtown schools serving at three sites from June 1 through July 24 (no meals June 29 to July 3) and Hardin County and Breckinridge Schools starting on June 3 with varying schedules; parents must register online.  Quicksie 98.3
