  • Elizabethtown is hosting its first ever E-Town Block Party downtown today following a reschedule from the 2024 Heartland Harvest Fest after Hurricane Helene washed out the original event. The free concert features Bourbon Revival at 2:30, J.D. Shelburne at 5 and country artist Craig Morgan at 7:30 with food trucks and beer trailers on site—gates open at 1:30.  Quicksie 98.3

CRIME NEWS

  • The trial of Crystal Rogers investigation suspect Steven Lawson is now in the hands of the jury — a key phase as court proceedings continue.  Quicksie 98.3

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Bradley Mattingly has been selected as the new principal at Clarkson Elementary School as Adam Smith becomes the district’s Director of Elementary Education—he served six years as the Instructional Coach at Custer Elementary and will use his experience to boost student success.  K105

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Fort Knox was chosen by U.S. Army judges for the 2025 Commander in Chief’s Annual Award for Installation Excellence—an honor that shows the base meets high standards in mission support, quality of life, and safety. Garrison Command Sergeant Major Alex Licea said the award reflects the hard work of the installation's team.  Quicksie 98.3
