Hardin County Animal Shelter in E-town has two adoptable dogs—Barron, a 6-year-old Border Collie, and Rusty, a 2-year-old Pit mix—available this week.
Visit the shelter at 220 Peterson Drive Monday to Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., except Friday when it is open from 2:00 to 4 p.m., or call 270-769-3428.
United Way of Central Kentucky invites organizations— including those from Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, and Meade counties— to submit proposals for its Week of Action Campaign scheduled for June 22 through 26.
Approved projects will receive volunteer support and must include key details like completion time and volunteer needs.
