Dakota Edwards, 20, from Leitchfield has been indicted on charges of first-degree rape, sodomy, sexual abuse and attempted rape after Leitchfield PD said he repeatedly assaulted sleeping women over 3—4 years and is held in Grayson County Detention Center on eight bonds totaling $4 million.
The Elizabethtown Police Department said a text scam is using fear to trick parents by sending messages that either impersonate a child with a bogus phone number or claim a relative has been kidnapped—parents are urged to verify family contacts before calling any unknown numbers.
