- ➤ The American Red Cross will open a temporary resource center at West Point Independent School in West Point to offer in-person support for flood victims from Jefferson and Hardin counties—it will operate Saturday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. WLKY

- ➤ Attorney General Russell Coleman and 41 state attorneys general sent a letter to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. urging that the new National Human Trafficking Hotline operator work more closely with local law enforcement — the letter follows reports that Polaris withheld critical trafficking tips and delayed their release.
