The 11th annual Paws United Pet Expo will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Southland Bingo Hall at 2855 Centennial Avenue in Radcliff, where about 50 vendors and 15 to 20 rescues will join in live pet demonstrations and a Derby Pet Parade with registration opening at 8:30 a.m.—attendees can support animal rescues by donating pet food, cat food, or cat litter.
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is offering vouchers for clothing and wares to people impacted by flooding at its stores and opportunity centers statewide.
The vouchers must be used in full at one store and require an ID — they are also available at Community Action Kentucky offices.

Kentucky auditor Allison Ball said on Thursday that her office would investigate the state’s medical cannabis program because of complaints about the lottery system used to award licenses for growing, processing and selling medical cannabis.
Her office will review the application process—examining how licenses were given under Gov. Beshear’s rules.
