- ➤ Nolin RECC is accepting applications for Operation Round-Up grants—members can round up their bill each month to send extra dollars to local groups, with past donations providing over $415,000 in grants since 2006. The board of local residents reviews the applications and the deadline to apply is May 1. Quicksie 98.3
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Breckinridge County police are looking for a man who stole a truck and crashed into a vehicle on Monday on Hwy 60 between Garfield and Harned, injuring driver Joshua Robbins; the suspect who had a stocky build and wore a red sweatshirt while only in socks fled on foot. K105
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Kentucky Shakespeare will stage a free performance of Macbeth at Freeman Lake Park on April 29 with parking available from 5:30 p.m. and the show beginning at 6:30 p.m. The City of Elizabethtown will host its first Bunny Brunch at the State Theater on April 12 with sessions at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. (Attendees can enjoy a photo with Mr. Bunny, crafts and a Bunny Hop.)
