- ➤ Camp TESSA is hosting the ninth annual Autism SpectRun 5K to support its summer camp for people with autism. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 18 at Elizabethtown Sports Park with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. + the race starting at 8:30 a.m. Quicksie 98.3
- ➤ Joey, a 2-year-old pointer, and Sky, a 3-year-old pit bull are seeking homes at Hardin County Animal Shelter (220 Peterson Drive, open Monday to Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.) in Elizabethtown. A rabies clinic will be held on April 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Quicksie 98.3

- ➤ Throughout April, the Kentucky State Police are taking part in Operation C.A.R.E. (Crash Awareness Reduction Effort) to reduce distracted driving on local roads; troopers will be stationed at key points until April 13 to encourage safe driving practices. Quicksie 98.3
