  • Boundary Oak Distillery got its first batch of Patton cigars—branching out from its usual whiskeys, moonshine and spirits—and will offer the new product soon.  The News-Enterprise

CRIME NEWS

  • Steven Lawson appeared in Nelson Circuit Court on Thursday as Judge Charles Simms III reviewed several motions while Special Prosecutor Shane Young remanded his motion for DNA testing of two chemically treated hairs and ordered a cheek swab for Lawson, and his attorneys requested access to the samples with a hearing scheduled for April 14.  Quicksie 98.3

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The West Hardin Middle School Vex Robotics Team is going to the World Championships after a season of hard work — the student team will compete against top teams from around the world. They are preparing to represent their school and learn from the experience as they head into the contest.  Quicksie 98.3

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On April 3rd, Garrison Commander Col. Chris Ricci and Tami Delaney with FMWR Marketing shared Ft. Knox plans for upcoming events that include an Easter Sunday Brunch at Saber and Quill—catch and release bass tournament—STEM-TASTIC.  Quicksie 98.3
