COMMUNITY NEWS

  • A funeral service for Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington (26) will be held Saturday, March 21 at Central Hardin High School. He died on March 8 after an attack at Prince Sultan Air Base and will be interred at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff.  K105
  • This Saturday, Smith’s Crossing will host more than 20 vendors at its second Spring Craft Fair — a local event showcasing a variety of crafts and goods.  The News-Enterprise
  • Staff Sgt. Benjamin Pennington will arrive at Godman Army Airfield at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, with a procession along local streets ending at Trowbridge Funeral Home. His funeral is scheduled for Saturday at Central Hardin High School with visitation from 10 a.m., and residents are invited along the route.  Quicksie 98.3

SPORTS NEWS

  • Grayson County High School Cougars beat Taylor County Cardinals 73-64 in the Sweet 16 today at Rupp Arena — a 19-6 run in the third quarter carried the team. They will play either Great Crossing or Danville Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.  K105
