  • Kentucky Career Center at Lincoln Trail hosted its virtual job fair yesterday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. online, offering free resume help and career guidance plus direct chats with employers.  Quicksie 98.3

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A National Weather Service survey confirmed an EF1 tornado struck Hardin, Grayson, and Meade counties late Sunday and early Monday, knocking down trees, barns, and power lines without causing any injuries. Crews are working to restore power for over 2,000 customers affected by the storm.  WLKY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Kentucky lawmakers overrode Governor Beshear's veto of a school tax credit bill on Tuesday, letting donors claim a credit for contributions to scholarship programs. Supporters say the move creates a new funding option for schools, though Beshear warned it risks diverting public money.  WLKY

SPORTS NEWS

  • On Friday night at the Alice Theatre, political candidates and local athletes gathered for a chili cookoff fundraiser that raised nearly $5,000 for the Lady Cougars softball team. The team will open their season Thursday at 5:30 against Hart County at home.  K105
