- ➤ Nelson County High School honored alum Technical Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt from Bardstown, who died on March 12 during a KC-135 refueling mission in Iraq as part of Operation Epic Fury; the school and her former AFJROTC instructor offered condolences to her family (a loss felt locally). WLKY
- ➤ Hardin County Public Library Director Laurel Tabaka was named Librarian of the Year at the state library association conference.
