GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Hardin County Government is warning residents to use recycling trailers properly after weekly dumping of pallets near the Farmers Market increases clean-up costs and ties up county resources. The county asks residents to dispose only of approved items such as rinsed plastics (No. 1 and No. 2), aluminum and tin cans, newspapers, and non-greasy cardboard. Quicksie 98.3
- ➤ Sgt. Benjamin Pennington (26) from Hardin County died Sunday after sustaining injuries on March 1 during an Iranian attack on a Saudi air base, making him the first Kentuckian killed in the war while local officials and family mourn his loss. WKYU-FM

Pennington (26) of Glendale died of his wounds on March 8 from injuries sustained on March 1 at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia; Hardin County Schools will hold a press conference this afternoon to honor him, and Governor Beshear paid tribute on Facebook.
