- ➤ Hardin County EMS received the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline Gold Achievement Award for their work in responding to heart attacks and strokes plus improving training and equipment countywide, following last year's silver ranking. - ➤ Attorney General Russell Coleman said the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission approved nearly $6 million to continue Better Without It (BWI), a statewide youth drug prevention program that uses school and community events.
