- ➤ Rep. Samara Heavrin’s bill to support students with reading and writing challenges passed the Kentucky House on Wednesday with a 95-0 vote and now heads to the Senate. The measure requires school districts to create policies for dyslexia support and update teacher training. K105
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A rare frost quake rattled areas during last weekend's winter storm near Richardsville in Warren County. Meteorologists say rapid temperature drops and moist soil made the ground crack (a local resident noticed small cracks in her home) but they claim the event is mostly harmless. WKYU-FM

- ➤ The Lincoln Trail Area Development District is inviting community input on its study of affordable housing and homelessness to gauge local needs. Responses must be submitted by February 16 via the LTADD website (or Facebook page) and will remain confidential. Quicksie 98.3
