  • A Radcliff family lost their home on Sunday morning when a fire from a chimney issue broke out during a snowstorm; they escaped without injury and the fire department arrived just after 9 a.m. (it controlled the blaze within an hour) as neighbors offered support.  WLKY

CULTURE NEWS

  • Hardin County History Museum has rescheduled a dedication ceremony honoring Elvin Smith Jr. to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 4 (a new time set for the event) so local visitors can remember his legacy.  The News-Enterprise

  • Meade County captured its first Region 2 girls bowling championship in a match that went to the final roll — a nail-biting finish for the team.  The News-Enterprise
