- ➤ Travelers at Kentucky airports who lack REAL ID can pay a $45 fee for TSA ConfirmID starting Feb. 1 to verify their identity before boarding. The process takes 10 to 15 minutes — it may take 30 minutes at busy checkpoints — and provides a 10-day clearance for travel. K105
