Unemployment rates in the Lincoln Trail District fell in November from last year, with the state average dropping to 4.5 percent from 5 percent.
Hardin County showed a slight rise, Grayson County reached the highest rate at 5.6 percent, and Washington County posted the lowest at 3.8 percent.
🏛️ Government
Eligible households can apply for the LIHEAP Winter Crisis Program to help with heating emergencies including loss of heat or low fuel supply before extreme cold sets in.
Applicants must supply required documents and contact their local Community Action office for support.
