- ➤ Low-income Grayson County residents may apply starting Monday for electric bill help through Kentucky’s LIHEAP by contacting Community Action offices in Leitchfield (118 William Thomason Byway) or Lebanon. K105
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Kelley Beekeeping is transitioning from production to a distribution hub at its Clarkson facility. The company laid off 30 workers Monday and moved 10 from production while keeping wax production running, and it will begin aggressive hiring in six months. K105
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will host Express Enrollment for new and returning students this week. In-person services are available at the Welcome and Admissions Center in the Regional Postsecondary Building on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Quicksie 98.3
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Kentucky saw 636 highway fatalities in 2025, a 7% drop from last year and an 18% decrease since 2023; more than $1.5 billion was awarded for road and bridge projects plus efforts will continue in 2026 to reduce these numbers further. Quicksie 98.3
